WB bearing brand was founded in 1996 and its predecessor is one of the oldest bearing enterprises Wuxi bearing factory, founded in 1958.
In 1996, Torrington Company, which was owned by the world's top 500 enterprises of Ingersoll Rand group from US, established Wuxi Torrington Bearing Co. Ltd, a joint venture with Wuxi bearing factory. Torrington Company carried on the management, thus the TWB bearing brand was born, namely, Torrington Wuxi Bearings.
In 2003, the United States Timken global mergers and acquisitions Torrington bearing company completed the transaction of the third annexation the seventh in the world. The following year, Wuxi Torrington Bearing Co. Ltd in China became a wholly owned subsidiary of The Timken Company and renamed Timken ( Wuxi ) Bearing Co. Ltd. TWB bearing brands continue to grow, but is already TIMKEN WUXI BEARINGS.
In 2008, in order to adapt to the global strategy of TIMKEN, TIMKEN Hongkong investment company invested and established Jiangsu TWB bearings Co. Ltd to operate TWB bearings brand independently.
The new factory is located in Wuxi City, covers a floor area of about 40 acres, plant area of 25000 square meters and adds 100 new equipment, including 56 CNC grinding machines and all products reaching P6 class. At the same time it expands the production scale and supplements product range.
Performance characteristics include:
1. It can bear radial load or / and axial load in any direction and its bearing capacity is huge. With the ability to adjust the heart, when the axis of the inner ring and the outer ring axis tilt, it can still work normally. It doesn’t affect the carrying capacity when tilt is generally more than 0.5 degrees. The maximum tilt can be up to 3 degrees.
2. It can withstand larger radial load and generally can’t bear significant axial load. Running resistance is low and limit rotation speed is high. High rotation accuracy and low vibration level can be achieved. Requirements for installation conditions are high. The inner axis and the outer ring axis tilt occurs more than 2 '~4', which will seriously affect the carrying capacity and reduce service life.
3. It is mainly used to bear the radial and axial joint load of radial load. Then the large cone angle tapered roller bearing can bear the joint load of axial load. 5. It is able to withstand the radial and axial joint load or pure axial load. The bearing capacity is greater than the capacity of the deep groove ball bearing with same size. Running resistance is small and limit working speed is high. High rotation accuracy and low vibration level can be achieved. High rigidity of the system can be obtained when it is installed in pairs. Ball bearings can only bear the axial force of one direction, which is usually used in combination with another one angular contact bearings, balancing the axial force. According to the need, the installation should be adjusted to have the appropriate clearance or pretightening force. Users can also use a diagonal contact ball bearings to avoid adjustment difficulties.
